Addie is amazing. She is intelligent, creative, funny, discerning, and oozes “older sister.” My prayer for her during this season of her life is that she develop the confidence that comes from above, and the ability to grow through self-examination versus using entertainment to escape those nagging internal questions. I’m preparing for a 2012 goal: Make a piece of art each day, a drawing, sculpture, collage, whatever. Keep it loose, don’t take myself too seriously, but show some grit. I’ve had this iGoogle post-it widget full of ideas for at least a few years, so this wouldn’t be a bad place to start, I suppose.
